Internationally Renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon, Giancarlo Puddu, MD, Inducted into Sports Medicine Hall of Fame
Keystone, CO (Vocus) June 27, 2009 Giancarlo Puddu, MD, is one of five 2009 American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Hall of Fame inductees. Chosen for his vast research and instruction on knee surgery, Dr. Puddu will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday, July 11th at the AOSSM Annual Meeting in Keystone, Colorado.
Born in Rome, Italy, Dr. Puddu attended the University of Rome, "La Sapienza" for his medical degree and
